The ombudsman service was set up by law as a free service for consumers and can look at a wide-range of financial disputes, from loans and mortgages to insurance and credit cards. If you've fallen out with your bank, insurance company or finance firm, our tips on complaining may help to make sure your complaint is taken seriously.

We regularly take part in events such as Beyond Boundaries and mobility roadshows – where we promote awareness of the ombudsman and seek feedback on the problems that people with disabilities may have encountered in financial services.
So come and meet us when we're out and about, to find out more about our service. You may even find yourself the proud owner of one of our high-visibility rucksacks, specially designed with wheelchair users and blue-badge holders in mind! The free rucksacks come with an information pack containing:

Our outreach work with people with disabilities has also included:
